Revanth seeks support of Kodandaram, Left parties in Munugode by-poll

Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, August 20: TPCC president Revanth Reddy on Saturday sought the support of Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) founder M. Kodandaram and Left parties in the Munugode by-election.

Talking to reporters at Porlagadda Tanda in Narayanpur Mandal after hoisting the party flag on the occasion of birth anniversary of late former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, Revanth came down heavily on Congress leaders, who are ready to join the BJP along with Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy. He gave a call to people to teach Rajgopal and his followers a lesson by casting vote to the Congress in by-election.

The Telangana Congress president made an appeal to Kodandaram to join hands with the Congress and strive for party candidate victory in by-election. He assured that the Congress will fight with the TJS chief till the issue of podu lands is resolved. “If required, central leaders from the Congress will raise the issue at national level,” he mentioned.
