Foisted false ED case against Sonia & Rahul, alleges Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, June 13: TPCC president Revanth Reddy on Monday alleged that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) foisted a false case against Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.

Earlier, the Congress leaders and workers took out a protest rally from Indira Gandhi statue in Necklace Road to ED office in Basheer Bagh. Addressing the Congress functionaries, Revanth said that the National Herald newspaper started to fight against atrocities of the Britishers prior to independence.

The TPCC chief stated that Rahul Gandhi took over National Herald when it ran into losses and not in a position to pay salaries to its employees.

Revanth accused the Modi government of framing a false case against the Gandhi family as the newspaper publishing reports exposing the evil designs of the BJP to create a rift between the people of majority and minority communities. He warned of serious consequences if Modi-led BJP government tries to harm Sonia and Rahul.
