Punjab victory: Kejriwal who is on cloud nine gives a bear hug to Bhagwant Mann

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the common man's party, surprised everyone by winning the Punjab Assembly polls with a thumping majority. In the 117-seat Punjab Assembly, AAP has won 92 seats in the results announced on Thursday.

The AAP defeated the ruling Congress and the BJP, which were trying to capture Punjab. The AAP has adopted a new approach in the five states Assembly elections and announced Bhagwant Singh Mann as the party's Chief Ministerial candidate prior to Punjab Assembly elections based on a telepoll.

Meanwhile, after resounding success, Mann went to Delhi on Friday and met party chief Arvind Kejriwal at the AAP office in New Delhi. In turn, Kejriwal became emotional on seeing Mann and welcomed him with a bear hug.
