Spurious liquor claims nine lives in UP's Azamgarh
Lucknow: In a tragic incident in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh nine people died after consuming spurious liquor while 10 others were reported to be in a critical condition.
The incident took place in Azamgarh of Uttar Pradesh. Doctors said the condition of 10 others is critical It may be recalled that elections are being conducted in Uttar Pradesh in a phased manner. Two phases of elections have already been completed.
Ruling party BJP and the Samajwadi Party are locking horns in the state while the Congress and other parties, too, are in the fray. When the parties are campaigning to outwit each other this incident shook the not only people, but also the parties.
