Moved by Marathwada drought, Sachin Tendulkar bats with Pepsico as runner

At last the cricket god has been moved. King of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar has tied up with Pepsico to mitigate the sufferings of the people of the parched Marathwada. Marathwada is not one district but eight, comprising a big chunk of population in Maharashtra. The worst drought-affected districts are in Marathwada such as Latur which borders on Telangana. Even if he is cricket god, could Sachin Tendulkar tackle the whole of Marathwada drought? In any case, Sachin has given a blueprint for mitigating the Marathwada sufferings. The blueprint has been given to Chief Minister Devendra Phadnavis, who is going gaga over it. A happy Chief Minister tweeted the matter. Donations to the Marathwada relief fund are trickling in. Bollywood Star Akshay Kumar announced a relief of Rs 50 lakhs. Amir Khan has said he would adopt two villages. The blueprint has made the Chief Minister happy amidst the sorry situation. It would be nice if he would share it with the general public.
