28 states, 28 weeks, 28 jobs

Bhuvaneswar/Hyderabad, August 8: A bright future with B.Tech from Bhuvaneshwar and a PG from MICA, Ahmadabad is the dream of many students. But not for this youth. He found these jobs as stereotypical. Jubanashwa Mishra wanted to do something different. Partly he was inspired by the Jamal Malik character in Bollywood flick, Slumdog Millionaire. The way he develops from a beggar to a millionaire made Mishra to think. At the same time, he came to know about a Canadian, Sean Aiken, who did 52 jobs in 52 weeks. He started doing one week jobs from May 2013. Starting with a photographer job in Haryana, he went on with mountain cleaner in Himachal Pradesh, a play-school teacher in Andhra Pradesh, river rafting guide in Jammu, Kashmir, TRP analyst in a TV channel in Odisha, consultant in Karnataka, tattoo artist in Goa, groundnut seller in Chennai beach like wise he did 28 jobs in 28 weeks in 28 states. He even worked as a helper in graveyard. When asked, he advised the youth, "Don't fear to dream. Dream big and work to make them real. Don't listen to others who discourage you. Listen to your heart."
