Ministers lag behind MLAs in TDP's internal survey

Vijayawada, Aug 03: None of the TDP Ministers fared well in a survey conducted by Telugu Desam Party(TDP), according to reports. The party has conducted the survey on implementation of various welfare schemes in all the 175 Assembly segments in the State. According to the survey, no Minister fared better than the fellow MLAs in their home districts and none of them topped the list in 13 districts of the state. Sources said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would use the results to sack Ministers during the next cabinet reshuffle likely to be held after Dasara. In Krishna district, Jaggaiahpet MLA Sreeram Tataiah topped the list, Minister Kollu Ravindra stood second and Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswar Rao managed seventh rank. In Guntur district, Alapati Rajendra Kumar and Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar bagged the top two slots while Ministers Prathipati Pulla Rao and Ravela Kishore Babu bagged sixth and tenth ranks respectively. Women welfare Minister Peethala Sujatha ranked 13 out of 15 MLAs in West Godavari district. BC Janardhan Reddy and Nandamuri Balakrishna secured top ranks in the survey in Kurnool and Anantapur districts respectively.
