Chandrababu asks people to plant 10 saplings each

Rajahmundry, July 26: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has asked the people to plant 10 saplings each and to take care of them. He inaugurated Maha Pushkaravanam in Diwan Cheruvu Reserve Forest near Rajahmundry in East Godavari district today. Chandrababu unveiled the Pushkaravanam pylon and planted saplings on this occasion. He said that the saplings survival and growth can be monitored through Geo-tagging. The CM announced that 50 crore saplings would be planted in the state this year. He alleged that Congress regime planted trees to garner publicity. He claimed that 4.81 crore people participated in Godavari Pushkaralu. Chandrababu commended the residents of East and West Godavari districts for generously serving the pilgrims. Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa, Ministers, students and others were present.
