Key computer goes missing from Sri Hari Kota Space Center
Nellore, April 13, 2015: In a disturbing development , a computer system having classified and sensitive data has gone missing from Sri Hari Kota Space Center near here. The computer, part of the operating systems in the VAB building of the first launch pad of the space center, had gone missing a few days ago but the concerned staff members came to know of the missing only two days later. The space centre has lodged a complaint with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) after coming to know of the system's disappearance. A DIG rank officer has now been entrusted with the responsibility of probing the issue.
