Viveka Murder Case: Dastagiri released on bail, makes bold statements against Jagan, Avinash Reddy

Anantapur: Dastagiri, who turned approver in the Viveka murder case, made critical comments saying he's ready to die but won't be afraid of CM Jagan and MP YS Avinash Reddy. He stated that they should first reveal who killed Viveka before asking for votes. Dastagiri, living next to Avinash Reddy's house in Pulivendula, expressed that there's no reason for him to be scared. He admitted to his involvement in the Viveka murder case and mentioned that his becoming an approver was a form of atonement. He clarified that he had no intention of repeating his mistakes after listening to Jagan and Avinash. Dastagiri, who had been a remand prisoner in Kadapa jail for four months under an atrocity case, was released on bail recently.

While in Kadapa jail, Dastagiri claimed he was approached by Devireddy Shivashankar Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy, who tempted him with money to settle the case. Despite pressures to testify against CBI SP Ramsing, he refused to comply. He accused that the Viveka murder case was exploited in the last elections for victory and alleged that there's an ongoing conspiracy to win again using the same issue.

Dastagiri accused that a conspiracy was hatched to imprison him by fabricating false cases, turning him into an approver in the Viveka murder case. He warned that if Jagan and Avinash Reddy ask for votes in Pulivendula, people would stone them. After his release from Kadapa jail, Dastagiri arrived in Pulivendula amidst police protection.
