CID Seeks Arrest of Nara Lokesh Over Red Book Comments, Hearing Postponed

The Andhra Pradesh CID has approached the ACB court seeking permission to arrest Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the TDP, under the allegations mentioned in the Red Book which warns corrupt officials. The hearing on the CID's petition was conducted today at the ACB court in Vijayawada. After listening to the arguments, the court has postponed the next hearing to February 28. 


The CID has requested the issuance of an arrest warrant against Lokesh, accusing him of violating 41A regulations. It was alleged that Lokesh's comments in the context of the Red Book were intimidating to the officials.
