YSRCP Rebel MLAs Receive Fresh Notices for Legislative Assembly Hearing

Legislative Assembly officials issued notices again on Wednesday to YSRCP rebel MLAs Undavalli Sridevi, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, and Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy. They were asked to provide a written response to the notices by February 5 and to appear for a hearing before the Speaker at 11 am on February 8.

During previous hearings, some members reported that the CDs and pen drives they had sent were not opening. Consequently, the Speaker's office announced that they were resending the pen drives and CDs for inspection and advised contacting the Legislative Assembly office for any necessary assistance in this matter.

On January 29, these rebel MLAs appeared before Speaker Tammineni Sitaram for a hearing. According to the latest notices, the Speaker is set to conduct a joint hearing for these four MLAs on February 8. It is known that YSRCP Chief Whip Prasad Raju has filed a complaint with the Speaker, seeking to declare these four MLAs as disqualified.
