Decide between KCR and Modi, KTR leaves choice to Munugode farmers

Hyderabad, October 18: “You have to decide as to whether you want to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fixing power meters to farm pump sets or Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for implementing Rythu Bandhu scheme,” said TRS working president and Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) in a teleconference interaction with farmers of Munugode Assembly constituency.

KTR mentioned that the BJP victory in Munugode gives an indication that people are accepting anti-farmer policies of the BJP-led NDA government. He gave a call to farmers to teach a lesson to the BJP by casting their votes to the TRS candidate in Munugode by-election.

Further, the minister said that the Telangana is the only state in India spending Rs 10,500 crore every year for providing free power to farmers. “So far, Rs 58,000 crore was given to farmers through Rythu Bandhu scheme,” he stated and urged people to support KCR and TRS in Munugode.
