Insulted by denying helicopter to Medaram jatara: Telangana Guv Tamilisai

Hyderabad, September 8: Speaking after releasing third year coffee table book with title ‘Rediscovering Self in Selfless Service’ at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan said that the Telangana government had insulted her by not providing helicopter to Medaram jatara as per protocol.

“Even the Telangana government did not give proper information of not providing chopper to me,” she stated and added that she travelled by road for eight hours and reached Medaram.

The Governor faulted Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for not participating ‘At Home’ despite promising to attend. “I am revealing all the details so that people can know the facts,” she mentioned.

Tamilisai stated that she was not given a chance to hoist national flag on the Republic Day. “You can understand the plight of government hospitals as NIMS director himself is undergoing treatment in a reputed corporate hospital,” Governor mentioned and added that she will continue to do good for people even if Telangana government doesn’t respect her.
