Will take active role in Cong only after Revanth tenders’ apology: Komatireddy Venkat

Hyderabad, August 12: TPCC star campaigner and Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Friday made it clear that he will take active role in party activities only after TPCC president Revanth Reddy tenders an apology to him. In an exclusive interview, he slammed Revanth for taking unilateral decisions without consulting senior Congress leaders.

To a question, Venkat Reddy said that no one has invited him to participate in Congress padayatra to be launched in Munugode on Saturday. He faulted Revanth for not visiting his house when he had visited the residence of senior Congress leader Jana Reddy.

The MP alleged that a few Congress leaders had criticised him at the public meeting held in Chandur. “Revanth should have warned him (Dayakar) in the public meeting itself for speaking against me,” he mentioned.

Venkat Reddy stated he had already informed Revanth that will continue with the Congress despite his brother Komatireddy Rajgopal decided to join the BJP.
