'Virata Parvam' team calls on Sarala's kin in Warangal on whom the film is based

Hyderabad: ‘Virata Parvam’ starring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi was released on June 17 and received a good response. The film is a beautiful love story set against the backdrop of Naxalism and the audience are loving the film. The movie was running with houseful collections.

Not only the general audience, but also the celebrities are appreciating the movie. The film, directed by Venu Udugula, has been lauded by film stars, directors and producers. The film was based on the 1990 real-life events of a girl named Sarala.

Venu Udugula recently shared a video of the ‘Virata Parvam’ movie team meeting Sarala's family on whom the film was based. Director Venu Udugula, hero Rana, heroine Saipallavi and other team members met Sarala's family living in Warangal.

On the occasion, the ‘Virata Parvam’ movie team was accorded a warm welcome by the family members of Sarala. The movie team had spent some time with the kin of Sarala. Later, the family members of Sarala presented a sari to Sai Pallavi. This video shared by director Venu Udugula going viral on social media.
