Anchor Shyamala Tags Top Leaders, Highlights Negligence at Tirumala
Anchor Shyamala, who serves as an official spokesperson for the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), has reacted sharply to the political developments surrounding the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). She remarked that from past to present, it is baffling whether to laugh or cry when witnessing how alliance leaders have persistently used Lord Venkateswara of the Seven Hills as a political focal point.
Shyamala strongly criticized what she described as "counterfeit leaders" who previously raised accusations of spurious ghee usage at the temple, questioning their current actions. "What about what you are doing now?" she asked.
She further questioned the state government’s competence, asking, “Isn’t flying drones over the Tirumala temple premises a glaring example of your inefficiency? Didn’t the stampede at the Tirupati ticket counter that cost devotees their lives reflect your negligent administration? Aren’t the hundreds of speechless animals dying today at the Tirupati Gosala a result of your despicable politics? Despite a prohibition, aren't airplanes still flying over Lord Venkateswara’s abode—doesn’t that show your inability to govern? When some devotees were seen walking up to the temple’s main entrance wearing footwear, doesn’t that stand as evidence of your careless supervision?”
Directly addressing the ruling party, Shyamala said, “Respected sir, this is a list of the violations and crimes occurring in Lord Venkateswara’s sanctum during your government’s rule. If 191 cows have died at the Tirupati Gosala since April 2024, and your chairman simply brushed it off by saying it’s not a big deal—what action do you plan to take against him? You tried to dig pits over ghee accusations, and today that divine power has thrown you into the very same pit. Perhaps this is what it means when people say ‘evil never goes unpunished,’ sir,” she declared.
Shyamala tagged her social media post to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) General Secretary Nara Lokesh, and other members of the I-TDP.
