Court defers for April 7 decision on counting of votes in MAA poll
Hyderabad, March 31, 2015: City civil court of Hyderabad has on Tuesday deferred for April 7 hearing on counting of votes polled in election to Movie Artistes Association (MAA) president. The MAA officials have failed to submit video clipping of the polling process to court today. Because of this, the court adjourned the hearing and its orders on counting of votes till April 7. It may be recalled that a small time artiste O.Kalyan has filed a petition in the court alleging illegalities and irregularities in the conduct of election ahead of the polling date. The court gave go-ahead for polling and asked MAA not to take up counting till further orders. Senior actors Jaya Sudha and Rajendra Prasad are the two main contestants in MAA president election.
