Chandrababu rules out AP, TS merger in future

Hyderabad, March 29, 2015: AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday ruled out the merger of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states in future. "There is no question of the two states merging together again but the Telugu people can go together in the march of development," he said, addressing party leaders and activists during the 34th Formation Day celebrations of TDP at NTR Trust Bhavan here. Paying floral tributes to NTR 's portrait, he demanded 'Bharat Ratna' for the late chief minister. "NTR is a legendary figure and deserves Bharat Ratna. TDP will strive to ensure the highest civilian honour for the late leader, " he said. The Chief Minister said that TDP would continue to serve people as long as Telugu race remained. "That we have entered 34th year means we are very young and we will go ahead with more renewed energy," Chandrababu Naidu said and assured party workers that the party would always remember their services and help during their difficult times.
