Vijayasai Reddy’s Tweet Raises Questions on Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Inner Circle
In a social media post, Vijayasai Reddy wrote, “In ancient times, kings used to reside in forts, surrounded by a coterie. Regardless of the struggles faced by the people or the state of the kingdom, this coterie ensured that the king remained unaware. They blinded him with praise, calling out ‘Aha, Raja! Oho, Raja!’ while manipulating events behind the scenes. As a result, both the king and the kingdom eventually perished.”
He further elaborated, stating that if a king was intelligent, he would disguise himself, venture among the people, and learn firsthand what was happening. By identifying the conspiracies of the coterie and taking action against them, he could protect his kingdom. “For a king to remain strong within his fort, he must step out, understand the people's sentiments, and grasp their aspirations. Otherwise, the coterie will not spare him, and the fort itself will be lost. The same holds true even in a democracy,” he remarked.
