Foundation for Pattiseema project before March 29 : Babu

Hyderabad, March 24, 2015: AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has disclosed here today that ground breaking ceremony will take place for Pattiseema lift irrigation project before his departure for Singapore on March 29. At a high level review meeting at the Secretariat, Chandrababu has asked the irrigation minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao to take steps to clear legal hurdles blocking the construction of Polavaram main canal over a stretch of 1800 acres. He then directed the senior irrigation officials to complete the Polavaram main canal by June 15. He reviewed the progress of the projects such as Galeru-Nagari, Handri-Neeva, Veligonda, Vamsadhara, Thotapally, Pattiseema, Polavaram right , Main canal and Gundlakamma projects. Steps should be taken to complete all these projects by the end of June , he directed the officials.
