Pakistan Issues Visas to 154 Indian Pilgrims for Visit to Katas Raj Temples
The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi announced on Friday that visas have been issued to 154 Indian nationals traveling to Pakistan to visit the Katas Raj Temples in Punjab province. According to the commission, the pilgrims will undertake their visit from February 24 to March 2.
"In the spirit of mutual respect and religious harmony between the two nations, we continue to facilitate such visa issuances," stated the High Commission.
On this occasion, Saad Ahmad Warraich, Pakistan's chargé d'affaires in India, extended his best wishes to the pilgrims, hoping for a spiritually fulfilling and satisfying journey.
Under the 1974 Pakistan-India Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines, thousands of Indian pilgrims travel to Pakistan each year to participate in various religious festivals.
