In the Current Situation, Even Winning from Pulivendula Is Difficult for Jagan: Tulasi Reddy
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Chief Spokesperson Tulasi Reddy has criticized YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for his remarks against police officers and government officials, calling them objectionable.
Addressing the issue of Vallabhaneni Vamsi's legal troubles, Tulasi Reddy stated that there was no wrongdoing in Jagan Mohan Reddy visiting Vamsi in jail to offer support. However, he disagreed with Jagan's claim that Vamsi was an honest individual and that the case against him was fabricated. Tulasi Reddy asserted that the legitimacy of the case—whether it was lawful or unlawful—would be determined by the court.
Commenting on the current political climate, Tulasi Reddy alleged that public dissatisfaction with the YSRCP was increasing. He remarked, "Given the present circumstances, even winning from Pulivendula is difficult for Jagan."
Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh High Court is set to hear a police petition today requesting custody of Vallabhaneni Vamsi in connection with the case involving the alleged abduction of Satyavardhan. Previously, Vamsi had filed an anticipatory bail petition in the same case, and the High Court has already conducted a hearing on the matter, reserving its judgment. A decision on the bail plea is expected to be announced today.
