Acid Attack Incident: CM Chandrababu Orders Strict Action, Minister Lokesh Assures Support for Victim

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has strongly condemned an acid attack on a young woman in the Annamayya district. The incident occurred in Pyarampalle village of Gururankonda Mandal, where an alleged jilted lover carried out the attack. Expressing his outrage over the crime, CM Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to take strict action against the accused. He also instructed authorities to ensure the victim receives the best possible medical treatment. The Chief Minister assured that the government would provide full support to the victim and her family.

Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services Nara Lokesh also expressed shock over the incident, stating that it was deeply distressing. He assured that the government would stand by the victim and extend all necessary medical assistance. Lokesh further emphasized that the perpetrator, who acted with extreme brutality, would face stringent punishment. He urged the police department to take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
