AAP MLA Gurpreet Gogi Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Gurpreet Gogi was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his residence in Punjab. Gogi, who represented the Ludhiana West constituency, reportedly passed away on Friday night after gunshots were heard at his home.  

According to family members, they rushed to check after hearing the gunshots and found Gogi with gunshot wounds to his head. He was immediately taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Officials confirmed that two bullets were found in his head.  

Family members suggested that the incident could have been accidental, stating that the gun may have discharged unintentionally. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Kuldeep Singh Chahal stated that a case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of death.  

Gurpreet Gogi had joined the Aam Aadmi Party in 2022 and was elected as an MLA from Ludhiana West.
