Game Changer, Daku Maharaj Films Face Shock from Andhra Pradesh High Court

With the Sankranti festival approaching, Tollywood is gearing up for major releases. Ram Charan's film Game Changer is set to hit screens on January 10, while Balakrishna's movie Daku Maharaj will release on January 12.

The Andhra Pradesh government had granted permission for both films to increase ticket prices during the festival season. However, several petitions were filed in the High Court challenging the government's decision to allow the ticket price hike. The petitioners argued that the price increase violated existing regulations and requested the cancellation of the government order.

After reviewing the petitions, the Andhra Pradesh High Court issued a crucial verdict. While the government had permitted the increased ticket prices for 14 days, the High Court reduced this period to 10 days. According to the court’s order, the elevated ticket prices will be applicable only for the first 10 days after the films' release.
