Raghurama Custodial Torture Case: Vijay Pal Transferred to Ongole

In the ongoing custodial torture case involving Andhra Pradesh Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnam Raju, retired CID Additional SP Vijay Pal, who is facing allegations, has been remanded to police custody for one day by the Guntur court. The court ordered Vijay Pal to remain in police custody from Wednesday until Thursday morning.

Following this development, police transferred remand prisoner Vijay Pal from Guntur to Ongole. Early this morning, Prakasam district police escorted him from Guntur Jail and conducted a medical examination at Guntur Government Hospital. Subsequently, Vijay Pal was taken to Ongole for further investigation.

The Prakasam district police, led by SP Damodar, are set to interrogate Vijay Pal for 24 hours as part of the investigation.
