13-Year-Old IPL Star Vaibhav Suryavanshi Joins India U-19 Team; Debuts Against Pakistan

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who became a millionaire at just 13 after being sold for ₹1.10 crore in the IPL mega auction, has secured a place in the India U-19 cricket team. As part of the Asia Cup 2024 tournament, India faces Pakistan in its opening match today. The game, being held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, saw Pakistan batting first, reaching 181 runs for the loss of two wickets in 35 overs.

Recently, in a two-day auction held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Rajasthan Royals bought Suryavanshi for ₹1.10 crore, making him the youngest player in IPL history and the youngest millionaire cricketer. Known for his explosive batting, Suryavanshi grabbed attention during the U-19 Tests, where he scored a rapid century. In October, during a match against Australia U-19 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, he smashed a hundred in just 58 balls, earning widespread recognition.
