'Uttarandhra State' demand gains momentum on FB

Hyderabad, Feb 27, 2015: Being inspired by KCR-led Telangana agitation that resulted in the creation of Telangana state , a group of people have launched a 'Uttarandhra State' page on Face Book to carry forward the demand for separate statehood for the three districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam. Already 600 people have joined the group and are exchanging views on the demand for separate statehood and on its development. The group expects to grow in number in the next few months. Buddha Chandrasekhar, who unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha elections from Visakha, is one of the sponsors of the 'Uttarandhra Page' on Face Book. Most of the members of the page are of the view that the three districts are still being neglected and if the trend continues, separate stood would be the only option to save people.
