ED books fresh case against Jagan, attaches properties worth Rs. 232 Cr

Hyderabad, Feb 26, 2015: The Hyderabad wing of the Enforcement Directorate has registered a fresh case of money laundering against YSR Congress President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and others. It attached properties worth Rs. 232 Cr of Bharati Cements owned by him and of India Cements owned by N. Srinivasan. In a press release issued here, ED said that a case was booked against Jagan Mohan Reddy under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA ) based on the charge sheet filed by CBI against N.Srinivasan. The attached properties belonged to Janani Infrastructure and Bharati Cements owned by Jagan Mohan Reddy and India Cements owned by N.Srinivasan. The attached properties included five immovable properties worth Rs. 6 Cr and movable properties worth Rs. 226 Cr.
