The Central Government Decides to Provide Z Category Security to Nara Lokesh

The Central Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to provide Z category security to Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party. This decision was made based on security failures encountered during Lokesh's youth marches, warnings from Maoists, and information from intelligence agencies. Consequently, Lokesh will now be protected by personnel from the CRPF (VIP Wing), including four to five NSG commandos. A total of 22 personnel will provide security to Lokesh in three shifts around the clock.

Lokesh has criticized the YSRCP government multiple times for reducing his security. He demanded adequate security measures for himself. It is known that his security personnel had written letters to the Central and State Governments, the Governor, and the Home Ministry multiple times regarding this issue. Taking all these matters into consideration, the Central Government has provided security to Lokesh during the election period.
