KCR announces 43 % fitment to Govt employees

Hyderabad, Feb 5, 2015: Bringing cheers to the employees, Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao on Thursday announced a fitment of 43 per cent based on the Pay Revision Commission (PRC ) recommendations on pay hike to employees. Addressing a press conference here, KCR said that the new scales would come into force with retrospective effective from June 2, 2014, the day when Telangana state came into existence. KCR said while the arrears would be deposited in the GPF accounts of employees, new pay scales would be implemented from March. This means that the employees will draw the new scales in their February salary. "Those who had retired on Jun 30, 2014 will also get their arrears," he stated. Government will issue the orders on new pay scales tomorrow, KCR said amid an applause by the employees' leaders present there. Before the announcement, KCR held discussions with the employees' unions.
