16-day Chandiyagam to be conducted for universal peace

Prodduturu, Jan 20, 2015: A 16-day Maha Yagam , Sri Krishna Kalachakra Atirudra, Chaturveda, Sahasra Chandiyagam will be performed at Prodduturu in Kadapa district from Jan 30 for world peace. Sri Krishna Jyothi Swaroopananda Swamy , the pontiff of the Sri Krishna Peethnam, told reporters here that the Chandiyagam will be conducted by 300 Vedic scholars from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Haryana and Delhi. Through the Chandiyagam, Gods will be invoked for universal peace, good rainfall and crop yield, religious harmony and physical and mental well being of the people. The biggest Yagam will conclude on Feb 15, acocrding to the Swamiji.
