TS gets Rs 6 cr bill for KCR's copter trips
Hyderabad, Jan 8: Flying is an expensive affair, especially if it is done too frequently. Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao is believed to have spent at least Rs 6 crore for his heli-hopping across the districts between September and December of 2014. The Telangana government is said to have hired the helicopter from the AP Aviation Corporation (APAC) for the CM's heli-hopping. According to sources, APAC is believed to have stationed a helicopter at the Begumpet airport for the CM's needs from September 15 to December 31, 2014. The Telangana government is believed to have released an initial amount of Rs 4.92 crore to the Telangana Aviation Corporation towards charges for hiring of helicopters/aircraft for the CM.
