WG people can now lodge police complaints on-line

Eluru,Jan 7, 2015: With the West Godavari district Police going hi-tech, people in the district can now avoid the hardship of visiting police stations for lodging complaints. They can now lodge police complaints on-line wherein the complaints would be directly accessed by higher officials including Superintendent of Police. besides the concerned station House Officers in the police stations. Disclosing this to reporters, Superintendent of Police Raghuram Reddy said the online facility would be made available to people in a week or so. "If somebody wants to lodge a complaint, he or she can do so by logging to the site with their complete details such as name,address, mobile number and identity. This a must as we have to avoid hoax complaints," he said. This will also result in quick action by the police on the online complaints." Higher officials will continue to monitor the complaints and the action taken by the concerned police stations," Raghuram Reddy said.
