TTD cancels VIP break darshan for three days
Due to summer vacation and weekend, Tirumala turned as a sea of pilgrims on Saturday. All the compartments in Vaikuntam Complex were filled and devotees were seen standing in queues for a stretch of a few kilometers.
It was taking minimum 48 hours for the Lord Balaji darshan. For every one hour about 8,000 devotees are entering the queue lines. But only 4,000 people can have Lord darshan, according to TTD.
Meanwhile, women and children are facing inconvenience while waiting in the queue. TTD is taking all steps to avoid incident like stampede during tokens issue earlier. EO Dharma Reddy inspected the queue lines and instructed the staff to take measures not to cause inconvenience to those waiting outside the Vaikuntam complex.
