87 farmers ended lives after TDP came to power : Jagan

Hyderabad, Dec 22, 2014 : YSR Congress President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said on Monday that 87 farmers have committed suicide in Andhra Pradesh after TDP came to power . Speaking in the assembly on farmers' problems, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the suicides took place due to drought and broached implementation of loan waiver. Saying he will submit the list of farmers who committed suicide to the Speaker Kodela, Jagan Mohan Reddy said he will personally visit the families of those who committed suicide and console them. "The government has totally failed in preparing the drought-hit Mandal list in time. The government, restricting the number to 226, announced the list one day before the commencement of the assembly session. At least , it is not thinking of helping the families," he remarked, during the discussion.
