Watch: What Mahesh Babu says on his Bollywood debut

Hyderabad: Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu, who attended the launch of the Quickon Payments app in Hyderabad on Thursday, cleared the air on his Bollywood debut. On the occasion, a media representative asked Mahesh Babu an interesting question about his Bollywood debut. Is it possible to make any straight Hindi movie? If yes when will that project be materialised? He asked.

He replied, "What is the need to make Hindi films? When the world has become a global village and Tollywood films are being watched across the world. Even you also feel the same way.” He wondered what is the need to act in Hindi films. The video is making a splash on social media. 

Southern superstars have had made straight Hindi movies starting from Kamal Haasan, Rajanikanth, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and in this generation, too, Ram Charan made his Bollywood debut with Zanjeer in which Priyanka Chopra paired opposite him. But, it seems Mahesh Babu is not interested in acting in Hindi as he is happy with doing Telugu films.
