‘Power Pandi’ sequel likely as it endures ‘Bahubali-2’
At a time when the entire world is facing the onslaught of ‘Bahubali-2’, one film directed and produced by Dhanush, son-in-law of Super Star Rajanikanth and also a popular Tamil hero withstood the competition. Though the film ‘Power Pandi’ is not a bigger hit than ‘Bahubali-2’, it could remain in theaters with good collections and no drop in revenues.
It may be mentioned here that ‘Power Pandi’ was released two weeks prior to ‘Bahubali-2’ release. Though Bahubali-2 was released some 10 days ago, theaters in which ‘Power Pandi’ is being exhibited is running with houseful collections. With the super hit talk of ‘Power Pandi’ Dhanush is getting ready to bring out a sequel to the movie in his own direction and production, say the Tamil film industry sources.
