‘Repalle’ to resume shooting from May 9
Director Sukumar bagged a blockbuster with ‘Nannaku Prematho’ while Ram Charan also got a big hit with ‘Dhruva’ and returned to form. Now these two had joined hands for a movie ‘Repalle’ (working title) which is basically a story with village in its backdrop. So the entire film unit is on an outdoor shooting and the work is in progress in and around Godavari river and its surrounding areas. Unfortunately, the mercury levels are so high these days and it is unbearable to shoot in open areas. Despite that the unit is working hard and continued shooting.
However, the heroine of the film Samantha suffered sun stroke and became unconscious recently. The doctors advised her rest. So, the unit forced to postpone the shooting for few days. As Samantha recovered considerably, the unit has decided to resume shooting from May 9. The film is a village entertainer and Devisri Prasad is scoring music. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the movie and is spending a huge amount on the film shooting. Let us wait and watch whether the sultry weather allow the unit to continue shooting or not.
