Irreparable loss to Telangana State: Harish Rao
Hyderabad, April.29 : Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today expressed grief and shock at the demise of Government Advisor and Irrigation Expert, R Vidyasagar Rao. Rao died at Continental Hospital on Saturday morning.
Getting emotional on hearing the death, Harish said that the state has lost a great irrigation engineer and a scientist. Harish said that he got tremendous knowledge and awareness on irrigation subject at the behest of Vidyasagar Rao whose death is an irreparable loss. Rao offered his best efforts and stood behind Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who vied with himself to irrigate one crore acres in Telangana. Rao has shown a clear picture on how injustice meted out to Telangana in irrigation sector with “Neellu – Nijalu (Water’Facts) program, he recalled.
Vidyasagar gave instruction so from time to time on reaching the target of irrigating one crore acres and appreciated the Government for launching Mission Kakatiya program Harish said. The loss caused a void to the TRS Government and Telangana community. KCR made efforts to ensure that Vidyasagar Rao get back to work with speedy recovery and recuperation. He recalled that Rao offered unprecedented services to the irrigation sector and tried his best to safeguard the state interests.
