Varuntej grabs the chance missed by Mahesh and Cherry!
It may be recalled here that Varun Tej is working in the direction of Sekhar Kammula for a film titled ‘Fidaa’. Varun Tej simultaneously did another film titled ‘Mister’ in the direction of Sreenu Vaitla. During the shooting Varun Tej was injured and the shooting of both the films were delayed due to the injury. Later, Varun Tej completed the shooting of ‘Mister’ first and the film is all set for release on April 14.
During the film promotions, Varun Tej revealed an interesting point about his other film ‘Fidaa’. Before reaching ‘Fidaa’ story to him, the story has been to Maheshbabu. Though Maheshbabu was impressed with the story, Sekhar Kammula expressed his inability to finish the film within the time Maheshbabu could spare. After that Sekhar Kammula had reportedly taken the story to Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Cherry too was impressed with the story.
Somehow, Sekhar Kammula narrated the same story to Varun Tej. The Mega Prince expressed the surprise that he came to know from Cherry that he is doing a similar story and asked Sekhar Kammula whether he narrated it to him. Even before he answers his question, Varun called up Cherry and asked about it. For that Cherry said that he could not adjust dates to Sekhar and curiously asked whether he okayed the story. When Varuntej says yes, Cherry reportedly told him that it would be a very good movie. With the revelation, we came to know that the story had changed the hands of Maheshbabu and Ram Charan before reaching Varun Tej. So, let us wait and watch, how big hit the film would be as two top heroes have missed the chance to play the lead in the movie.
