Lawrence pours cold water on Varun Tej’s hopes
Mega Prince Varun Tej played the hero in four films so far. They are Mukunda, Loafer, Kanche and Fidaa. However, he failed to get a notable hit. Surprisingly, Kanche had received a national award too. Now, he played hero in ‘Mister’ directed by Sreenu Vaitla. Both the films are ready to hit the screens and Mister is hitting the theatres on April 14. Varun Tej had kept high hopes on the film and Sreenu Vaitla too had worked hard for the movie. Chiranjeevi had attended the chief guest for the pre-release function of the movie.
Varun Tej worried that his film is being released just a week ahead of ‘Cheliyaa’ of Maniratnam. However, the film had earned a divided talk and hence will not stand as a competition for this movie. Even Varun Tej is heaving a sigh of relief, another news came as a surprise that Raghava Lawrence has locked his release date of his film ‘Sivalinga’ on April 14. There is good craze for Lawrence films in the Telugu speaking states. Moreover, he is a specialist in horror films too. The movie analysts are suspecting that the film would give tough fight to ‘Mister’ in ‘B and C’ centres. Let us wait and watch whether Mister could face the onslaught of Sivalinga or not.
