Use of Hollywood technicians, hikes ‘2.0’ Budget!

The final schedule shooting of the sequel of Robot titled ‘2.0’, directed by Shankar, with Rajanikant in the lead role and Akshay kumar playing a protagonist, is progressing well. When the director announced that for the first time, an Indian film is being made with Rs 350 crore Budget, everyone is surprised. However, a budget further increased a lot. As per the latest information, by the time the final output is on the hand,
the budget may further grow up to Rs 450 crore and if we include the publicity expenses and all that the figure may touch even Rs 500 crore, opine the film industry sources in Chennai.

The reason for the increase in the Budget was attributed that the director had employed several Hollywood technicians for the movie for a quality output, it is learnt. The film is being shot for the past one year and the film is slated for release during Diwali season as there are lot of graphics involved in the movie. Amy Jackson is playing the female lead and as usual Rajanikant is playing dual roles.
