KTR Appeals To Wear Khadi Clothes
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has been encouraging Khadi industry in the State. Now Minister KTR took another initiative.
In a bid to give the boost to Khadi clothes, Minister KTR in his tweet asked cine actors and players also “I am ready to wear Khadi cloth, are you?”. KTR sent a tweet to cine actor Kamalahasan, Maheshbabu, Nagarjuna, Rana, Vivek Oberai, Sumant, Manchu Laxmi, Sania Mirza, P V Sindhu and journalist Rajdeep Sardesai.
As an appeal to encourage khadi industry on the call given by KTR, employees of his ministry including GHMC attended their offices wearing khadi clothes. It may be mentioned here that Chief Minister KCR has called upon people to switch over to khadi clothes a week ago.
