CPI to Observe Constitution Protection Day On Jan.26

Hyderabad: Ridiculing Governor ESL Narasimhan for showering praises on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today alleged that Chandrasekhar Rao’s “raspberry rule” was looking good for Narasimhan.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, Chada said it was unfortunate that the Governor was praising the government forgetting the problems of the people, which cannot be solved with huge publicity. The democracy was in peril after KCR becoming the Chief Minister, he alleged. He also informed that the State CPI party would launch agitations due to the problems of the post-demonetization of big notes following the call given by the CPI national party. He said the CPI will organize protests, agitations and meetings against the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on demonetization of big notes.

The State CPI leader said his party will conduct meetings and protest programs from January 3 to 10. On January 9, they will stage dharnas in front of the banks, ATMs and post offices. The party will also organize bus yatra from January 10 to 19 along with unions of Dalit and tribals. On January 22, the party would conduct a public meeting at Indira Park. The AISF, AIYF would take up bus yatra from January 20 to February 2 on the problems of educational sector.
