AP complains to Centre on T govt
New Delhi, Nov 4: Andhra Pradesh government has on Tuesday complained to the Center against Telangana government on the contentious issue of Srisailam hydel power generation, according to Minister for Water Resources Management Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao. The AP minister met Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti to formally submit his complaint. Later speaking to newspersons, the minister said that if excess hydel power is generated at Srisailam reservoir the Rayalaseema region will face severe drinking water crisis and agricultural needs of the region cannot be met.
