Dangal 1st day collections
Aamir Khan's Dangal movie which released yesterday opened up with super positive response from the critics and the audience. The movie registered superb collections on the first day overcoming demonetisation effect.
It collected 29.78 crores nett collections where the gross amount is close to 41.3 crores. On the other hand, Overseas collections are also decent. It was known that movie registered close to $2.7 million which is 18.3 crores in INR. So total first day collections of 'Dangal' movie is close to 59.6 crores worldwide gross.
After Sultan collecting close to 70 crores gross on first day in 2016, Dangal is second best opening Bollywood movie in 2016. However, the collections will pick up even more on today and tomorrow as the talk is very positive for the film.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie is based on life story of Mahavir Singh and their daughters Geetha and Babita Phogat. Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim, Suhani Bhatnagar played the lead roles in the film. Music composed by Pritam and it was produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao & Siddharth Roy Kapur.
