Evolve Plans For Swatch Bharat In Future: Venkaiah Naidu

Hyderabad: Calling upon people to become volunteers of Swatch Bharat, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting M Venkaiah Naidu today said, “We should evolve plans keeping in view of future needs and not present needs”.

He was addressing a function of “Swatch Bharat-Swatch Hyderabad” organized by GHMC at LB Stadium here. Venkaiah Naidu said prime minister Narendra Modi has said that Swatch Bharat program should convert into a public agitation to make the country “swatch”. Making the country “swatch” is not a easy task, first, we should change our mindset and thinking than only we can convert the country as a “ swatch Bharat”.

Earlier, addressing the function Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya said the motive and aim of swatch Bharat would be a success with the cooperation of the people.

Besides Dattatreya, Telangana ministers KTR, Padma Rao, Talsani Srinivas Yadav, MP Sitaram Naik, MLAs Gopinath,Tigala Krishna Reddy, Laxman, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, G Kishan Reddy, city mayor BontuRammhan, deputy mayor Baba Fasiuddin, GHMC commissioner Janardhan Reddy, Swatch Bharat Ambassador Pullel Gopichand and others attended the function.
