MLA's Disqualification : TTDLP Urges Speaker To Decide Soon

Hyderabad : Telangana TDLP leaders today demanded that Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary initiate disqualification action against those MLAs who joined the TRS from TDP.

On Thursday, TTDP MLAs A Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah called on the Speaker in this regard and asked the Speaker to impose the disqualification on the 12 TDP MLAs for shifting their loyalties to TRS party from TTDP.

Speaking to the media later, the TDP MLAs said they urged the Speaker to take a decision before the last date fixed by the High Court to take decision on the MLAs who changed their party would expire on December 21.

They said the 12 MLAs would be part of the TDP till the Speaker takes a final decision and asked the Speaker to allocate the seats considering the total members as TDP members. They also demanded that the Speaker provide ample time to Opposition members to speak on the public issues as the people were being troubled due to various problems in the State.
